The saddlebag remains beautifully intact offering a complete glimpse into its utilitarian origins. Each panel is anchored by a bold, symmetrical field of geometric medallions, articulated with crisp drawing and framed by finely detailed borders. The composition feels both grounded and animated—the repeating forms softened by subtle variation, revealing the hand of the weaver. The palette is rich yet balanced: saturated madder reds set against deep indigo and enlivened by ivory and soft blue-green accents. Gentle abrash moves across the surface, lending depth and a texture.
