Very Attractive Sarouk, Persia — c. 1920
A charming early 20th-century Sarouk with a rich deep navy field, beautifully filled with an intricate arrangement of floral sprays, bouquets and elegant palmettes. The warm coral, rose and soft blue accents create a striking contrast against the dark ground, framed by finely detailed floral borders. A well-preserved example with good pile and attractive age-related character.
