約120年前頃に織られたこの美しい中国のパオタオ（バオタオ）(包頭)カーペットは、色彩と空間の使い方が素晴らしいです。これは特に美しく、淡いベージュの地に草花が描かれ、3つの花瓶が美しくデザインされています。藍色とベージュの縁取りで、雲と花模様のモチーフが描かれています。パオタオカーペットは風景や象徴的なモチーフを様々なニュアンスで織り上げています。このカーペットは柔らかな厚手のウールが特徴で、座っても歩いても本当に心地よいカーペットです。

Woven just over 120 years ago, this beautiful Chinese Pao Tao (Bao Tao) carpet has a wonderful use of colour and space. This is a particularly lovely example showing 3 vases with plants and flowers on a light beige field that is  beautifully executed. It is bordered by an indigo blue and beige border with clouds and floral pattern motifs. Baotou carpets are woven with landscapes and symbolic motifs in various nuances. This carpet features soft thick wool that is a real pleasure to sit and walk on.
